A film by Manu Gowda with his father Chingari Mahadev as key background ‘Srikanta’ starring Dr Shivarajakumar and Chandini Sridharan in lead roles has completed talkie portions. It is only patch up work and three songs shooting. This portion would be completed in June and the film release is probably in August.


It is one and only Shivanna complimented director Manju Swaraj for the extreme support and energy pumping to the whole team. My big dream was to direct one shot featuring Dr Rajakumar. Now I am amazed with his son Dr Shiv. There is no one parallel to him. He does not have any star attitude. That is the reason because he is so humble and good to all he pointed. I can touch my heart and tell that we have done best work so far. We have plans to shoot two songs in overseas said Manju Swaraj.

Dr Shiv is amazing. Dr Shiv not accepted this film; it would have been left as a dream and not tried with anyone stated Manu Gowda.


Music director Ajanish Lokash is also thrilled with Dr Shiv as hero of the film. It is my first with Shivanna. He is trying for Dr KJ Yesudas for one of the songs. He has five songs in this film. It is not only story special but cinema work is also tried with different outlook stated cameraman Suresh Babu.

The biggest compliment for ‘Srikanta’ came from Dr Shivarajakumar. I have seen so many films with wastages. Some of them go beyond our control. In this film ‘Srikanta’ the film is very beautifully made without any wastage. Everything was provided right on time and things went on so cool. I have found satisfaction working in this team. They have utilized the time properly. The film has good thrill, drill, emotions, arrogance, and natural flow. Attitude is shown but how it gives impact is also a message. I was a bit natural in Kaddi Pudi, this is another in different range. Climbing 60 feet for adoring Deepak Shetty character, I did not use rope or threads. I wanted that to come natural. When so many people climb height and do milk abhishekha, why not once for the film role such task is taken I felt. I had good belief that if I fall 150 people would hold me. Fortunately nothing happened and the scene came so well recalled Dr Shiv.


According to Dr Shiv all the people connect to this film role. There are sharp edge weapons in my hand. The song of Appaji ‘Srikanta….Vishakanta….comes up at one of the prominent places he pointed.
